St. Margaret's Church will be commemorating the end of WW1 with an Exhibition to those of the Parish of Northam and Westward Ho! who lost their lives during 1914 to 1919. For the first time on this special occasion we are having A "Field of Remembrance" for all who have lost their lives in the service of their country, from WW1 to the present day.
There will be a Royal British Legion stall selling items including crosses (and other religious symbols) for those wishing to remember past family or friends who have died in service to their country.
The Field of Remembrance and the Exhibition (hopefully which will include relevant WW1 items that have been loaned to the Exhibition) will start on Friday 26th October to 11th November 2018. Times of opening Mon/Tues/ Thurs/Fri/Sat will be 10.30am to 3pm and Wed/Sun 2pm to 4pm.
"There But Not There" is the 2018 Armistice project for the charity "Remembered". We are pleased to announce that we have been given 10 bench sitting silhouettes from "There But Not There" which is a Nationwide Installation for the Fallen.
